On an empty stage, a chorus dressed in white rehearses the national ethos without fully understanding its meaning. Through satire and ritual, the performance examines the construction of the Israeli narrative of bereavement and the ways in which sacrifice has become inseparable from collective identity.

Combining documentary, historical and fictional materials, the work moves through moments from Israeli culture and memory, from 1948 to the present.
